Honest roommates return missing $40K

A 91-year-old woman in New York got her life savings back after three roommates returned her lost 40K they found in a recently bought sofa.
The trio discovered the cash months after buying the beat-up soda and found a name on the envelope. They told the media that they contacted the former owner after having a "lot of moral discussions about the money."
"We all agreed that we had to bring the money back to whoever it belonged to. It's their money - we didn't earn it." It appears that the woman's daughter sold the couch while she was admitted to a hospital and replaced it with a bed. The young roommates received gratitude and were rewarded with $1K.
