Harley-Davidson recalls motorcycles
October 18 , 2013
The Milwaukee-based company Harley Davidson is recalling some of its 2014 motorcycle models due to a possible issue with safety.
About 29,000 bikes are being recalled since the company believes the vehicles might be hard to slow or stop because there's a possibility that the clutch doesn't get disengaged.
Owners of the affected bikes have been asked to not ride them and dealers have been instructed to not deliver until the bikes built between May 3, 2013 and Oct 14, 2013 are fixed.
After the owners of these vehicles arrange an inspection with an authorized dealer, their vehicles will be picked up, inspected as well as repaired without any additional cost.
