Hacking case: Sony warns Twitter with Lawsuit over leak tweets

  • Still recovering from the humiliating revelation of several hacked emails by Guardians of Peace group, Sony has reportedly warned to sue Twitter unless it shuns accounts that are connected to the leaked tweets. Twitter's general counsel, Vijaya Gadde received a letter of threat sent by David Boies, Sony lawyer mentioning that the organization would "hold Twitter responsible for any damage or loss arising" due to the hacked information.

    Sony has specifically asked Twitter to ban Val Broeksmit's account who is a musician and has been tweeting from his twitter account, @BikiniRobotArmy, the screen grabs of Sony email messages.
