Group Lotus sacks chief executive Dany Bahar
June 8 , 2012
Carmaker Lotus has dismissed its chief executive with immediate effect.
The Group Lotus board fired Dany Bahar following an investigation into a complaint against him by Malaysian parent company DRB-Hicom Berhad.
Bahar was suspended two weeks ago and has been replaced by Aslam Farikullah, a DRB-Hicom Berhad senior executive.
Bahar joined Lotus in September 2009 and unveiled four new cars at the Paris motor show in October last year.
