Greece referendum: Europe's leaders issue stark warnings over no vote
June 30 , 2015
Key leaders of the eurozone have warned Greek voters that a no vote in the July 5 referendum would result in Greece’s exit from the euro.
German, Italian and French politicians echoed the warning by the European commission that the referendum was not really about determining whether Greece could get better bailout terms but its very future in the euro.
Meanwhile, ratings agency S&P said that a Greek exit from the single currency could trigger a “serious foreign currency shortage” for both the public and private sectors of the country.
