Greece bailout: Another round of talks yields no agreement
June 15 , 2015
A fresh round of talks between the Greek government and EU officials has failed to reach any agreement.
According to a spokesperson for the European Commission, progress was made during the Brussels talks, but “significant” gaps remained.
The EU says that in order to clinch a bailout deal Greece must make spending cuts worth around €2 billion.
A specific sticking point is the unwillingness of the Alexis Tsipras government to cut pensions, reports say.
