GM sales hit high despte recalls
June 4 , 2014
It appears that recalls and deaths have not kept the public away from General Motors. CNN Money notes that the company posted its sales, which have increased by 13 percent since last year.
More than 74 people have died in GM car accidents, 13 of which have been attributed to faulty ignition switches. In every case, the vehicle was unable to deploy its air bags after being in a frontal collision.
Media reports indicate that Ford and Chrysler sales increased in May as well.
