Finger amputations result in another Walmart recall
January 4 , 2014
PR people for Walmart are probably wishing they had taken a whole week off: After the first recall of donkey meat, after it was proven that it contained fox, Walmart is recalling folding table and chairs in the US.
About 73,400 Mainstays are dangerous since it's been determined that the chairs could randomly collapse. There have been several accidents and 10 injuries have been reported, including fingertip amputations.
Some reports also include fractured fingers and a sore back. The chairs and tables were sold between May and November for about $50 and customers are welcome to return their sets for a full refund.
