Nasdaq boss Robert Greifeld has said he is "humbly embarrassed" over a technical glitch that led to a delay in the trading of Facebook shares on the New York Stock Exchange on Friday.
Trading was delayed by about half an hour as a result of late order cancellations.
Facebook shares ended the day at $38.23, just above its initial pricing of $38.
The offer price valued the site at $104 billion.
More than 566 million shares were sold, a record volume for U.S. market debuts.
