Eurozone leaders cautiously optimistic about Greek debt deal

Leaders from the Eurozone have expressed hope over a deal with Greece over the country’s debt crisis within this week, following an emergency summit in Brussels.
Germany’s chancellor Angela Merkel said that the Greek government’s new proposals constituted some “progress”, but she stressed that time was limited and more work was needed.
Greece has to repay a €1.6-billion loan to IMF by the end of June.
Francois Hollande, the French president, said that Greece and its lenders were “moving towards” an agreement.
