EU leaders want Greece in eurozone
May 24 , 2012
EU leaders want Greece to remain in the eurozone but to "respect its commitments", according to European Council President Herman Van Rompuy.
Speaking at an informal EU summit, Van Rompuy said continuing reforms were essential for Greece’s economic recovery.
The eurozone crisis has dominated the talks amid worries that Greece may have to exit the single currency.
Reports suggest the EU is preparing for such a scenario.
