'Dumb Starbucks' gets shut down
February 12 , 2014
Looks like there wasn't any future for "Dumb Starbucks" after it was revealed that comedian Nathan Fielder was the brains behind the "parody coffee shop."
The store left many customers disappointed after it was shut down for not having a permit and Fielder soon addressed the media and said they'll soon open their second Starbucks in New York.
The real Starbucks is taking this whole thing in good humor but another branch may not show toleranance. "We are evaluating next steps, and while we appreciate the humor, they cannot use our name, which is a protected trademark," Starbucks said.
