Drive-thru shopping to come to Sears
February 13 , 2014
Looks like Sears knows how to compete with online retailers: Reports suggest that the company is soon going to offer drive-through shopping and introduce a program called "in-vehicle," powered by a phone app.
Customers would be able to place an order online and drive to the store to notify their arrival. The app begins a five-minute-long timer and if your order hasn't been delivered within that time frame, you receive a coupon worth $5.
A senior vice president mentioned that the feedback has been positive. "It's very convenient for senior citizens who have problems with movement or moms with young kids."
