Chinese billionaire missing in helicopter crash
December 23 , 2013
After a Chinese billionaire bought a vineyard, its previous owner took him for a tour on a helicopter, which ended up crashing.
Lam Kok's 12-year-old son's body was found in the wreckage but he himself along with the previous owner James Gregoire and an interpreter are missing.
Reports suggest that Gregoire was flying the vehicle and a massive search effort is currently searching for the missing persons. According to an AFP photographer, Lam Kok's wife didn't join the rest on the tour since she was "scared of helicopters."
BBC noted that the 16-acre purchase was worth $41M and the billionaire wanted to establish a wine -and tea-testing site in the area.
