China's manufacturing growth slows again
December 1 , 2014
China's manufacturing growth has slowed more than estimated in November, official data show.
The purchasing managers' index (PMI) dropped from 50.8 in October to 50.3 in November, below the 50.6 mark economists had expected, according to media reports.
The decrease in factory output is being attributed to increasing costs and dropping demand.
According to an HSBC survey, growth in the country’s factories stalled last month, with output shrinking the first time in half a year.
