June 4 , 2012
The Chinese government is preparing to draw up plans to deal with the potential economic risks of a Greek exit from the euro zone, according to three sources with knowledge of the matter.
The plans could include measures to keep the yuan currency stable, increase checks on cross-border capital flows and gear up policies to reduce volatility in the domestic economy.
The central government has called on the National Development and Reform Commission, the central bank and the banking regulator to discuss contingency plans.
