Boeing's shares sent down

  • An Ethiopian Airlines at Heathrow Airport in London caught fire inside, which sent Boeing's shares down about 5 percent. The cause of the fire is not yet confirmed but the investors have reacted in quite a nervous manner.

It is not clear as to how long the fire had been burning but luckily there were no passengers in the plane at the time of the incident. It happened while the plane had been parked remotely in an area at the airport. There are a number of possible theories on what might have happened. However, no body commented on the potential cause of the fire when the investigations began. Despite the cause, this incident has ended up costing Boeing a lot of money. History has also proven that other airlines have had similar electrical issues in the past.
