Blockbuster boost for Disney's fourth quarter revenue

Walt Disney’s revenue for the fourth quarter has exceeded market expectations, riding on successful recent movies.
The entertainment firm has reported a 7% hike in revenue to $12.39 billion, up from the $12.36 billion expected figure, according to media reports.
Blockbusters such as ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘Maleficent’ have played a major role in the good numbers.
Chief executive Robert Iger said the fiscal 2014 results marked “our fourth consecutive year of record performance.”
