Barclays reportedly looking to sell French retail banking unit

Barclays is looking to sell its retail banking business in France, according to a Les Echos report.
The bank is seeking to only retain its business dealing with corporate customers.
Speculation has been mounting that HSBC and La Banque Postale could make an offer, according to the newspaper.
Barclays declined to comment while neither HSBC nor La Banque Postale could be reached for an immediate comment.
