Aviva boss to step down
May 8 , 2012
Insurance firm Aviva’s chief executive Andrew Moss will be leaving his post with immediate effect.
This comes after the company lost a shareholder vote on executive pay at its annual meeting last week.
Moss had previously turned down a salary increase due to concerns about pay levels amongst shareholders.
Chairman designate John McFarlane will lead the company on an interim basis.
Aviva shares were up 5 percent following the announcement.
