Apple unveils iOS 8

Apple CEO Tim Cook unveiled operating systems OS X and iOS 8 at the company's annual conference in San Francisco. Reports suggest that the software won't be available until this fall, but there are several things that are new and exciting.
The Verge reports that HealthKit app would be able to monitor users' weight, sleep, blood pressure, and more; HomeKit will let people control several things around their place, including lights and locks.
Moreover, several improvements will assist in better interaction since users will be able to respond to texts through the lock screen and it'll also become easier for them to get to their frequent contacts.
