Apple iPhone Factory Stops Workers from Over Timing
November 23 , 2017
A Taiwanese supplier of Apple's iPhone put a stop on interns working overtime. The Foxconn Technology Group hired around 3000 interns in September to match the demand for the phones. The interns were mainly students, who were working voluntarily for 11 hours in the company. But this breached the Chinese laws which prevent children from working over 40 hours in a week. The firm now, however, has taken immediate action to stop the interns from working more than the allowed time.
