Apple CEO Tim Cook's salary increases by over 40%

  • Apple CEO Tim Cook's base salary was hiked by around 43% last year in February, the tech giant has revealed.

    His salary increased from $1.4 million to $2 million, with the total remuneration in 2014 more than doubling to $9.2 million.

    Other executives’ base salaries also rose by more than 14% to $1 million, the firm said in its annual report.

    Last year, nearly 40 million iPhones were sold, and the New York listed shares of Apple reached a new high.
