Al-Qaeda's day-to-day life revealed
December 31 , 2013
About 100 receipts and invoices recovered in a Timbuktu building have revealed al-Qaeda's day-to-day expenses. Turns out even terrorists love to eat meat (six entries) and probably like to have a barbecue as well.
Apart from groceries, the terrorist network has spent on funding the Islamic Tribunal, cleaning Cheikh Abou Youssouf's house and paying the security guards. There were also expenses on car trouble and funding its fighters.
The receipts reveal how the groups runs many of its chapters and names of these receipts also prove that many of its members were foreign born.
