  • Two law firms in Canada have filed a $578 million class action lawsuit against the firms that run dating site Ashley Madison after a hack attack exposed an estimated 39 million members of the adultery website.

The law firms said the lawsuits were filed on behalf of Canadians whose personal information had been compromised because of the breach.

Lawyers in Missouri have also filed a class-action lawsuit in a district court in the US, seeking over $5 million in damages.
