  • A baseball hat that Baby Ruth, the legendary baseball player, wore at the time of his Japan tour in 1934 is reportedly sold for$303,277 on the website of Grey Flannel Auctions. The hat in navy blue embellished with a logo of the US is said to be the only hat the esteemed slugger wore at the time of his month-long trip.

    Other memorabilia items of big-ticket baseball that were sold on Wednesday, include a 1932 Yankees ball sold for over over $115,000 and a Joe DiMaggio 1937 baseball cap that gained more than $150,000, according to media reports.
