The Population of South Carolina, as per July 1st, 2016 estimate, is 4,961,119 (Four million nine hundred sixty-one thousand one hundred nineteen). The last official US Government census was done in 2010, and the population as per that census was 4,625,364 (Four million six hundred twenty-five thousand three hundred sixty-four).
