As in these countries there is a strong possibility that you may hardly come across a secure internet server.<\/p>\n

According to a World Bank<\/strong> data of 2018, in these countries and some others, especially African nations<\/strong>, there were zero secure internet servers per one million people. So, people living in these countries are often affected with identity theft, computer breakdowns and virus attacks, just some of the risks that are associated with using unsecured internet servers.<\/p>\n

Consider yourself somewhat lucky if you are living in countries like Ethiopia<\/strong><\/span>, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan and Yemen Republic\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0as here the data suggested that the number of secured internet servers ranged between 1 to 4. In India<\/strong>, the figure stood at 188 secured internet servers per one million people. Meanwhile, China<\/strong> was ahead of its neighbor with 447 servers per million people. Still, both India and\u00a0 China<\/span><\/a>\u00a0 need to invest better in installing secure servers.<\/p>\n

However, you are really lucky if you are living in British Virgin Islands\u00a0<\/b><\/span>With a whopping 330,716 secured internet servers per one million people, the possibility of the residents\u2019 data being subjected to risks is negligible. Coming at the second spot on the higher end was Seychelles<\/b>\u00a0where there were 264,257 secured internet servers per million people. Nations such as\u00a0 Switzerland<\/span><\/a>, Iceland and Monaco<\/strong> showed figures of 68,137, 64,606, and 10,651 respectively.<\/p>\n

As of 2018, the United States<\/strong> had a figure of 65,768 per million people; however, its northern neighbor Canada<\/strong> had 30,952. The figures in Australia and New Zealand<\/strong> stood at 32,891 and 17,673. In Europe, while Liechtenstein was at the higher end, Albania<\/strong> was at the bottom with 38. As per the data, in North America<\/strong>, the figure stood at 62,216 per million people; in the European Union<\/strong> it was 29,326; in Sub Saharan Africa<\/strong>\u00a0738 and in South Asia<\/strong> just 172.<\/p>\n
