Carolina Beach Boardwalk
Location: Carolina Beach, North Carolina
The Carolina Beach Boardwalk, between Cape Fear Boulevard and Harper Avenue is one of the top ten boardwalks of USA. Apart from restaurants and entertainment centers, this boardwalk hosts several concerts and weekly fireworks display. Kids love the amusement park and the rides along the boardwalk. Regular summer events are organized here and the boardwalk is known for its “Island of Lights” festival, “Christmas by the Sea” event and “Carolina Beach Music” Festival. This wooden boardwalk is just the place to catch some breathtaking views.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is among the oldest in the US. Opened in 1907 as the “Coney Island of the West,” this main beach boardwalk became the prime entertainment center of the West Coast. From knickknack and curio shops, to restaurants and amusement centers, the boardwalk has something for everyone. It plays host to music gigs and fitness competitions and is a favorite with both bikers and amblers. This boardwalk was built in the 1870s as a meeting point for the Methodists, but soon became popular with the beach goers.

Sandwich Boardwalk
Location: Cape Cod, Massachusetts

One of the best attractions of the Town Neck Beach in Sandwich, the oldest town in Cape Cod, is its famous Sandwich Boardwalk. The 1,350-foot boardwalk spans across a marshland and is a fun place to be with the family despite its lack of commercial interest. Children love to jump off the boardwalk into the shallow waters when the tide comes in. They also get to hunt for crabs in the sandy beach.
