Mana Pools National Park is located on the northern side of the Mana pools, which is south of the river Zambezi. Mana Pools contains different kind of carnivorous animals starting from tigers to jackals and bears. The ideal time to visit this park is from the month of May till October. Insects are comparatively lesser in number during these months, thus it is an ideal time for screening the Safari Park. On the other hand, the time best suitable to catch glimpses of the wild animals begins from the month of July to October when the wildlife comes closer to the Zambezi river in order to drink its water. The Mana Pools are ideal for fishing and boating. The animals, which can be usually seen are waterbucks, antelopes and other queer animals.
