Job Scenario in Zimbabwe
Conventionally, work is distributed on the basis of gender. Majority of household work like cooking, housekeeping brewing, is carried out by women. Men work away from the home. They look after the cattle, do hunting, and perform agricultural activities. Nevertheless, women also take part in agriculture. They normally perform tasks that are regarded "light," for example gardening and sowing.
These functions are evolving gradually. Men assist with a number of functions that were previously reserved for women, and girls and women presently flock and tend cattle. The British Authorities did not permit women, particularly black women, to do jobs away from the home. Regardless of these restrictions, women moved into cities to look for jobs. The sovereign government brought an end to employment prejudice against women. Consequently, the number of women employed in corporate offices, industrial units, and administrative divisions rose. There is still a lot to be performed, nevertheless, for women and the handicapped people-to better their condition.
Zimbabwean jobs are now in demand because the country is offering various types of jobs in the field of education and teaching, leather industries along with the coal and mining industries, government jobs, hospitality jobs in the hotels and hospital sectors, medical jobs, human resource jobs, legal jobs, jobs in health organizations, tourism jobs, construction jobs, accounting jobs in the industrial and production sectors and so on. That is why, it can be said that the rate of employment in Zimbabwe is increasing day by day.
As the employment rate will increase, the standard of living of the country people will also increase. This will finally result into making Zimbabwe a developed country. The main hurdle in the development path of the country is the stagnation of hyperinflation in their economy. As the days are passing, the government and other social service organizations are working towards the uplift of the country. Various jobs in Zimbabwe are growing the international interest for the country, which is also helping the economic growth of the country.
