The tournament saw almost one hundred and fifty six golfers playing at the event.
Stanbic Zambia Open Golf Tournament held in 2003 was won by the Swedish golfer Johan Edfors. The 2004 Zambia Open Golf Tournament was participated by many of the golfers who featured among the top twenty positions.
James Loghnane who was born in Zambia but plays for Ireland, had won the Stanbic Zambia Open Golf Tournament for two times. Marc Cayeux is a Zimbabwean golfer who also won the tournament twice.
