The capital of Zambia is Lusaka. It is located at the geographical coordinates of 15°25' South latitude and 28°17' East longitude. It is the base of all the governmental and constitutional jobs of the Republic of Zambia. The legal system of Zambia is modeled on the common law and customary law of England. The Supreme Court of Zambia is the highest center of law in the country. The judges in this court are appointed by the president himself.
There is a unicameral National Assembly with 158 seats. Out of these 150, as many as 150 members are chosen by popular election and the rest eight members are selected by the president.
