The rapid growth of population in Zambia is the main hindrance in the improvement of agriculture sector. The output never succeed in attaining the domestic food requirements of Zambia. Another major problem faced by Zambia Agriculture is the scarcity of cultivated land. Only 5% of the land available for agriculture is cultivated. large agricultural area is practically arable.
