Occasionally meat could be added to this dish. Ifisashi is served with Staple Food of Zambia called Nshima.
- Samp: It is one of the Traditional Recipes of Zambia. It is a local delicacy, which is prepared with hominy and dried beans.
- Kibbutz Salad: It is a popular recipe of Zambia. A mixed vegetable dish, it is served with Nshima. This delicacy is prepared with tomatoes, cucumber, lemon, garlic, red pepper, sugar and chopped parsley.
- Caterpillar Delight: This recipe consisted of boiled caterpillar with greens vegetables like spinach and collards. When the dish is cooked add cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper is added to it to enhance the taste. The caterpillars are then served over a bed of green vegetables.
