The must see places of Zaire are Musee National de Kinshasa, which is the National Museum of Zaire with the largest collection of Zarian artifacts and crafts. Kisanto Botanical Gardens in Matadi featuring a collection of 100-year old trees. Upemba National Park features several lakes inhabited by crocodiles, hippos and namy aquatic birds. Virunga National Park is inhabited by lions, elephants, warthogs, buffaloes, antelopes, hippos and colorful aquatic birds.

Getting to Zaire

Reaching Zaire is the easiest by air through the international airport at Kinshasa. Getting there by water through the international port of Matadi on the Congo River is also easy and the travelers may experience a scenic journey. The roadways in Zaire borders Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania.
