Zaire Society and Culture is build up by the Zairians, who are well-known for their unity among diverse ethnic groups. The nation of Zaire consists of many ethnic groups and that many languages. More than 250 languages are spoken all over the nation.
The society and culture of Zaire reflects the Congo culture and still follows some Belgian traditions. Co operation and unity is the common factor that can be seen in every household of Zaire. The people of Zaire mix with each other and invite during festivals irrespective of what tribe they actually belong to. Though there are numerous languages spoken by the various ethnic groups of Zaire, the citizens do not face any difficulties while communicating.
Religion is a very important aspect in the society of Zaire. There are 3 main religions that people practise in Zaire. Almost half of the country is Roman Catholic, a quarter of the population are Protestant, and the remaining belong to the native Kimbanguist Church. The culture of Zaire do not preach gender bias. The Zaire women receive the same rights and equality as the men. They can work in any sector where they feel comfortable and are free of any male domination. Women participate in the national defense too. Moreover the Zaire women are the perfect home makers, looking after the children and in- laws. National food in Zaire is delicious and house some special restaurants for international cuisines of French, Chinese and Belgium. Education is being encouraged at higher levels for more improvement in the Zaire Society and Culture.
