Yemen police force is responsible for maintaining the peace and discipline of the country. Though there is a lack of necessary resources such as skilled manpower, equipments such as pistols and revolvers, Yemen Police provides efficient service. Without the presence of these things, it becomes very difficult for the police to fulfill all of their responsibilities successfully.
However, in spite of these limitations, the police force in Yemen tries their best to provide safety and security to the citizens of this Middle East country. The police force of Yemen is capable of handling cases of crime, terrorism, anti-social riots, accidents and many other legal matters.
In the recent times, police of Yemen has proved their expertise by seizing 2500 weapons in arms control campaign and capturing explosives in taxi before they could burst. All these actions prove their capability to handle and control the rate of crime.
The only barrier to the efficient and effective service of the Yemen police force is the undue treatment that they get from the government. Police in Yemen is paid very less and they are not even given sufficient training. Hence, the outcome is that some police officials often do malpractice. Though they provide assistance to the victims, but in return of their service, they charge the latter.
