The Los Angeles Sports Arena is an indoor sport stadium in Los Angeles, California. The Sports Arena has been the home to Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) 1960-1967, Los Angeles Kings (NHL) 1967, Los Angeles Sharks (WHA) 1972-1974, Los Angeles Clippers (NBA) 1984-1999, University of Southern California men's basketball 1959-2006 and University of Southern California women's basketball 1983-2006.
Some of the major events held at the stadium include the 1960 Democratic presidential convention, the 1963 NBA All-Star Game, The Los Angeles Classic college basketball tournaments 1960's, the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship1968 and 1972, the 1984 Summer Olympics boxing, and the 1932 Olympic boxing.
Some of the other events organized here are circus performances; ice skating shows, equestrian-events, table tennis, conventions, concerts, and indoor track and field meets.
The WWE held WrestleMania II and WrestleMania VII at the Sports Arena, Los Angeles.
The stadium has the capacity of 16,021 for ice hockey and 18,750 for basketball.
