Cricket Stadium , encircling the circular cricket field , has the lofty stands all round it for the spectators to sit and enjoy the game of cricket from there. The field used for playing cricket is usually a large one though there are no fixed dimensions for it.
The rectangular strip of land in the centre of the field is 22 yards in length and 10 feet in width. This is called the cricket pitch and this is where the batsman faces the bowler.
