Pension reforms agitated French people - 8 September

Most of the workers across the country walk on strike for one day to protest the government's policy to increase the retirement age.

According to the report employees of public as well as private sectors were on strike. Strike was planned to protest the government's pension reform; the present retirement age is 60 and according to the plan it would be 62.
