Greenpeace anti-whaling activists, Japanese court, Japan's whaling program - 7 September

Two Greenpeace anti-whaling activists have been sentenced one-year suspended jail for stealing a box of whale meat in year 2008 by Japanese court.

However, they admitted their act but they contended that they did it to expose illegal practices in Japan's whaling program. Commercial whaling is prohibited allover the world.
