Goods train hits seven elephants - 24 September

A high speed goods train hit as many as 7 elephants resultantly most of them died in West Bengal state of India. However, as per the report rescuers tried to save 2 young ones.

Five died immediately and remaining two injured badly. The younger elephants trapped on the track nearby Moraghat Tea Garden in Binnaguri, West Bengal.
