The restaurant is open all year and there is also a snackbar available during the high season. Situated on the outskirts of Steinfort village a full range of activities are available locally including rambling,cycling,a local fishing lake and indoor swimming pool.Steinfort is within easy reach of Luxembourg City and Arlon in Belguim. Also within easy reach is La Belle Etoile shopping centre,containig the local Cactus supermarket, for those who enjoy shopping for quality items. In Cactus the fresh fish counter alone contains in excess of eighty different varieties of fish and seafood available daily. A must visit for those with a gastronomic or culinary bent. |

During high season in the morning, afternoon and evenings many activities are organised for both children and adults, alike.Steinfort is located in the west of the country, close to the Belgian border, beside the Main E25 road, which connects Bastogne-Arlon and Luxembourg. The Camping area comprises 142 grass pitches (80-90 m2). Electricity-connections Euro (16 Amp). The site is well lit with tarmac roads and multiple watertaps are provided.The showerblock consists of heated bathroom and toilet facilities with hot showers available day and night. A babyroom is also available. |

There is also a separate room which provides laundry and dishwashing facilities with hot and cold running water.
There is a laundrette fully fitted with washing machines and driers. There is a small charge for these but use of spin driers and ironing board is free. During the summer months there is a second toiletblock with a babyroom for your convenience and a facility for discharging waste from motorhomes. Domestic Animals must be kept on leash. There is plenty of space outside the campsite for exercising them. Two openair swimming pools (one small for children),with terrace are available onsite. Further on-site facilities, include public payhone, play areas, table tennis tables, board games and gamesfield for Petanque. Available in the bar are a wide range of drinks and snacks. Also available in the bar are internet facilities. Attractions: The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is considered as an ideal country, because of it’s beautiful scenery, fascinating culture and many and varied sporting possibilities. Steinfort village: has many attractions including indoor swimming pool and sauna, walking trips through the forest, fitness training centre, fishing lake and cycling route. The surrounding area: provides beautiful walks, Castle Trips, the “Parc Merveilleux“ funfair and Zoo, Karting, Bowling, Trout fishing, National Mine-Museum, Trip with Oldtimer train of 1900, open air swimming pool; The historic fortified town Arlon in Belgium, is only 8 Km away. Luxemburg-city (15 Km. away): You can experience its beauty by taking a mini train trip through the city and the historic fortifications of the “Petrus Valley“ parc. The casemates are the subterranean passageways of the old fortifications and are well worth a visit as are the different museums, convivial streets and enchanting little shops. You don’t have to drive far to discover the Grand Duchy of Luxembourgs scenic beauty including hidden valleys sorrounded by rocks and wooded hills is within easy reach of the site. The campsite is situated very close to the Belgian border and within easy reach of France and Germany. The motorway connections to all three countries is excellent and this makes the site ideal for cross border excursions and day trips. To be sure that there is always something amusing happening onsite we have engaged an entertainments team.
During the months of July and August entertainment for the children is provided daily,by our entertainments team, on the site and in the village such as sporting events and games, walking-tours, ralleys, hobby activities etc in which adults can also participate. The bar is open for most of the day during the high season and during the evening a varied selection of entertainment is available during high season including Bingo/Tombola, Karaoke, Play-Back-show, Miss & Mr. Camping, Musicevenings e.g. Disco, Dance, South-American,Country & Western etc etc. |
