One of the important aftermath of First World War was the partition of Austro-Hungarian Empire, which resulted in the establishment of new empires like Czechoslovakia, Poland and Yugoslavia. These countries were established so as to determine a democratic stabilizing impact in Europe and to act as a buffer against any future attacks fro Russia.
