October 9, 2015 is a very special day for the fans of the rock group the Beatles. On this day 75 years ago was born one of the most famous musicians that the world has ever seen – John Lennon. The co-founder of the Beatles, John Lennon was born in on October 9, 1940, at Liverpool Maternity Hospital. In 1960, in association with Paul McCartney, Lennon formed the Beatles. Along with its other two members George Harrison and Ringo Starr, the group went on to record some of the most memorable songs, which are still hummed today by people of all ages. With the breakup of the bank in the 70s, John Lennon embarked on a solo career   In December 8, 1980, John Lennon, who was accompanies by his wife Ono, was shot in the back by Mark David Chapman in front of his Manhattan apartment building. John Lennon was taken to Roosevelt Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
