How to Reach Fortaleza?
By Air: The Pinto Martins Airport operates flights connecting Brazilian cities with most capital cities in South America. Direct flights to European cities such as Lisbon, Amsterdam, Rome, and Milan also arrive and depart from this airport.
By Road: The main bus station is a just a few miles from the Fortaleza airport and about 10 miles from Iracema Beach. Viacao Nordeste runs buses between Fortaleza and Natal. Other long-distance buses such as Sao Geraldo also run buses connecting this coastal city with Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Expresso Guanabara also has buses linking Ceara with the several cities in Northeast Brazil.
