Vietnam Rivers



Vietnam rivers are the assets of this country and multiply the grandeur of Vietnam all the more. Vietnam is located in the eastern coast of the Indochinese Peninsula and this land is moderately long and narrow with diverged terrain. Northern and central Vietnam are hilly zones as they have mountains whereas the eastern coasts have broad plains, which crisscrosses with various steams.

Southern Vietnam is a relatively low area and has the fertile delta of Mekong river. Due to the presence of Vietnam rivers, the plains of the country are intensely cultivated and they have constructed various canals and dikes to control flood.

Both of these rivers are readily navigable throughout the entire length of Vietnam. The notable smaller rivers in Vietnam are Ka Long O River and Huong river (Perfume River) respectively. Either big or small the Vietnam rivers are the natural assets of this country.
