The Uzbek Academy of Sciences prove to be an intricate part of the
Uzbekistan Science and Technology. The academy organizes scientific research programs that could help in the development of the industrial, cultural and the economic sectors of the country.
Between the year 1987 to 1997, around 1,763 engineers and research scientists were engaged in research oriented work in Uzbekistan. 314 technicians per one million people had inclinations towards the research programs in the Uzbekistan Science and Technology.
The headquarters of the Uzbek Academy of Sciences is situated in Tashkent. The departments offering various degree and research programs in Uzbek Academy of Sciences are:
