The Uzbekistan Laws are very important in the parliamentary government system of the country. The Uzbekistan Laws are governed by the legislative department of the parliament. The laws of Uzbekistan are divided into three major sections. The first one deals with the Uzbekistan laws on foreign investment and the others deal with laws on chambers of commodity procedures and entrepreneurs and laws on guarantees and measures to protection of foreign investors’ rights.
The laws on foreign investment govern the investment of foreign countries in Uzbekistan. There are some new developments in the foreign laws that clarify and improve some definitions which were used in the previous laws. In the Article 3, the definition of “foreign investment” has been re defined. The definition of “foreign investor” has been increased in the Article 4. The revised Article 5 defines the intellectual property rights of the foreign investors. The Article 16 deals with the new law permits and in the Article 22, a major change took place.
The laws on Guarantees and measures to protect foreign investors’ rights have also gone through a number of changes. This new laws revise and try to clarify the arbitrary provisions of the previous law. The government carefully observes the implementation of these laws which assures stability in Uzbekistan economy and society.
